Both are probably on the scale, but the weight seems to shift towards the latter. His latest “drug ban” was for weight-loss supplements, after all. It’s not like he rock-star smashed up his hotel or anything, but rather consumed some adult beverages a couple of nights before a game. Not terribly rebellious, just stupid. And he’s been banned for life from the Romanian national team for it. Because that’s just what Adrian Mutu does – get banned from stuff. Gabriel Tamas was sucked into his vicious vortex as well. Hey, Something Actually Came Out Of International Friendly Week Posted: 11 Aug 2011 07:27 AM PDT (All apologies to Northern Ireland and the Faroes…mostly the poor Faroes.) How excellent? Well they just won the u19 Euros today, defeating the Czech Republic. That puts their current trophy haul at… World Cup European Championships u21 Euros u19 Euros And they’re considered the favorites in the current u20 World Cup. It appears all they have left to do is master that pesky u17 business.
