Human Rights Group Criticizes Sepp, Just Like Everyone Else

Posted: 10 Apr 2012 01:00 PM PDT

The words “Sepp Blatter” and “legacy” are inextricably linked. Most of the time, they’re enveloped by many more words of the four-letter variation. Solidar, a Swiss human rights group, is doing their part to make sure this stays on steady course, by making a video critiquing Sepp’s approach to World Cup 2014 and the manner in which he deflects criticism.

Done so by making us all sick to our stomachs. And putting the world on high alert to come up with yet another nauseatingly ubiquitous pop song before 2014.

Mario Menezes Renders World Cup 2014 Moot, Claims Victory

It’s a bit early to be handing out the big trophy for 2012, particularly with the world about to end in a few months time here, but Mario Menezes sees no fault in staking claim to it more than two years out. This is probably the fault of the internet age rendering the man behind the pulpit no longer responsible for his words, as what were once key, locker room crippling soundbites are now just pixels between the latest tweet from Rio Ferdinand regarding what he had for breakfast.

Arguably, Brazil should be the favorites. Whether or not added pressure is good for his faux-hawk-led team is his discretion. Personally, I’d have gone the “woe is us” Droopy route for three years and then sprung a ruthless attack.

“We will win the World Cup in 2014,” Menezes told Marca Brasil. “We have a talented generation, with a very strong mindset. These are players who can handle the pressure of representing Brazil at such an important moment, even though they are very young. And we also have experienced players who can balance it out. This will become very clear for the fans soon.”

“Neymar can be the best, but Messi’s chances are bigger, because he is at a more advanced stage and is more mature,” Menezes said. “I am afraid when it comes to Neymar, just like I would be in the case of a student who is the top of his class, because both can lose their reference points and the notion that they can still improve.”

So there you have it: Brazil to win, Messi to win the Golden Ball. Attempt a refund on flights, hotels and tickets as appropriate.

Ladies ‘Rank’ The Men Of The German National Team

And that there is your winner.

A German internet site devoted to finding partners for infidelity – worth noting when considering the voting pool – took a poll of 1300 female members to find the most desirable man of the German national team. In an completely shocking turn, Mario Gomez led the vote, which means there’s a joke to go here about his ability to score on the pitch mirroring his ability to score off it as well. But I won’t write it.

Bastian Schweinsteiger came in second, attracting the group who enjoy quality playmaking from midfiel. And he probably has some other attractive attributes, but that’s for the ladies to decide. Meanwhile, either Holger Badstuber or Manuel Neuer came in third, depending on the source*, which matters little as it makes this a Bayern Munich monopoly on Die Mannschaaft groupies.

* – Links to the original results, FirstAffair.de, aren’t easily found, nor is it a place where one wants to get lost for very long.

The top spots they would like to enjoy the company of these men came in at the massage room and then the stadium garage.

Because nothing’s more erotic than exhaust fumes.

This is an excellent idea to promote Euro 2012 in the city, and it might not even sport a lower cost on materials for normal bus stops. (Shot in the dark.)

It’s going to be a terrible idea the first time an old lady gets her nose broken because some kid decided to chip a Moskvitch from across the street. Because that’s probably going to happen this summer – a lot.
