Maradona Has A Direct Line To God. I Am Sure Of It. Posted: 06 Dec 2009 05:35 PM PST
No, he was not allowed to be at the draw. In fact, he was so uninvited that FIFA actually sent him a reminder of it! Yet, even in banishment, Maradona always seems to have the last laugh. The groups toughest competition is a struggling Nigerian squad that is practically in revolt of its current coach. Not a good sign for the Eagles. Then, there are the South Koreans, who will present little challenge against the likes of Messi, Tevez, Higuain and Mascherano. And finally, as if given a chance at redemption from God himself, Maradona gets another crack at Greece; the team he last beat and scored on before being ejected from the 1994 World Cup for drug abuse, effectively closing his international footballing career. With this drawing, it is Maradona’s road to conquer. Now the only question that remains to be answered is this; Will he be able to get it done on his own, or does God have one more blessing left for the Argentine great? |
