Mr Bojan-goals has clearly been watching someone in training Posted: 26 Dec 2009 09:43 AM PST Its a couple of days old now, but a great goal is always a great goal. Catalonia played against Argentina in a match that saw the legendary Johan Cruyff manage from the sidelines against the legendary Diego Maradona. Although only one of those is a managerial legend at this moment in time – and his team ran out 4-2 winners. It was a great game (if unofficial) and the highlight was Catalonia’s second goal, scored by Barca benchwarmer Bojan Krkic, which seemed reminiscent of someone on the sidelines of the team he was playing, and even more so of someone he trains with day in day out. Some of the other goals weren’t bad either, makes you wonder how well Catalonia would do if they were to become a nation of their own – though its obviously impossible to judge on just the one match, and and one that obviously doesn’t really count for anything. |
